Terms of Service

Vocalyn converts text you provide into synthesised speech on iPhone and iPad, with optional imports, offline voice packs and playback controls. Features may change, improve or be discontinued over time.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Vocalyn. You are responsible for the Apple Account used to download the App and for activity that occurs through your device.

You retain all rights to the text, documents and audio you create with Vocalyn. You confirm you have the right to convert any content you submit and that doing so does not infringe copyright or other rights. We claim no ownership of your content and do not use it to train models.

• Do not use Vocalyn for unlawful, harassing, deceptive or infringing content.
• Do not use generated audio to impersonate a real person or create misleading media attributed to someone else.
• Do not resell, redistribute or bulk-generate audio for a competing text-to-speech service.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or its ad delivery.

The free version of Vocalyn is supported by advertising delivered through the Yonder advertising network. Ad frequency, formats and placements may change. Blocking, spoofing or artificially interacting with ads is prohibited and may result in loss of access. See our Privacy Policy for how ad data is handled.

Vocalyn Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of period end. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

The App, its interface, voices we license, branding and software are owned by Vocalyn or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant no rights in our trademarks.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Synthesised speech may mispronounce words or misread formatting; do not rely on it where errors could cause harm.

To the extent permitted by law, Vocalyn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using Vocalyn at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the App unlawfully.

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vocalyn is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: legal@vocalyn.app.
